Barista Bitch Dialing In

Roasted on 07/19/22 I brewed this in a Kalita wave using notneutral filters with a Niche Zero grinder. My recipe is 28g coffee, 400g hot water not necessarily aiming for any particular time, but somewhere between four and five and half minutes. I try to do a 50g bloom in the first 45 seconds then three or four more pours. 39. Fruity, golden syrup, cacao. I've been lazy with my tasting notes recently, but this is another one that I think would be good as an espresso or drip.

19.2g in 32 seconds 25g out  Used on my friend's Anza with a Niche Zero at around 26. Lots of dried stonefruit, a little toasted coconut and bitter chocolate. 

Using a Niche Zero Grinder and an Anza espresso machine at 21, 18.3g in, 17 seconds and 24g out. Caramel and milk chocolate, ok as a daily drinker, but a little boring.

Using a Niche Zero Grinder and an Anza espresso machine at 17, 18.6g in, 24 seconds and 24g out. Milk chocolate and the barest hint of citrus. Bit of a daily drinker, it won't wow you, but it is serviceable.

Using a Niche Zero Grinder and an Anza espresso machine at 22, 18.5g in, 17 seconds and 32g out. Lots of dark chocolate and peanut notes, some brief blueberry and a fair amount of sweetness. Fairly orthodox, but enjoyable.

I try to do a 50g bloom in the first 45 seconds then three or four more pours. 43. Lots of dark chocolate notes throughout, some bright blueberry and a lot of butterscotch. It feels similar to a chocolate covered berry. 

Using a Niche Zero Grinder and an Anza espresso machine at 22, 19.5g in, 15 seconds and 35g out. It is a lot thinner than the last time I had it, but more intense albeit briefly. Blackberry at the front, dark chocolate and sweetness throughout. I am not sure if I prefer it like this. Everything felt like it was there for a second and gone in another.
