I try to do a 50g bloom in the first 45 seconds then three or four more pours. 6.25. This one was all over the place. Random grinds were considerably better than others. Very Juicy, some burned butter notes, orange blossom and honey. I liked this a lot better the last time I tried it.

I try to do a 50g bloom in the first 45 seconds then three or four more pours. 6.675. This tastes like Linea Caffe Espresso, I think it is just rebranded. Very juicy, apricot followed by honey with an overwhelming bittersweet chocolate finish. Ok as a daily drinker.

Temple Colombia Decaffeinated Swiss Water Process

Roasted on 04/28/20 I brewed this in a Kalita wave using notneutral filters with a Ditting KR1203 grinder. My recipe is 28g coffee, 400g hot water not necessarily aiming for any particular time, but somewhere between four and five and half minutes. I try to do a 50g bloom in the first 45 seconds then three or four more pours. 6.125. not a great decaf, Temple tends to roast dark with little subtlety and this is no different. Milk chocolate notes throughout, some cherry and slight citrus acidity, but not enough to make this a good coffee. Although I guess decaf drinkers are used to this.

I try to do a 50g bloom in the first 45 seconds then three or four more pours. 6.675. Very juicy and syrupy. I prefer this as an espresso to a pour over. There are some fruit notes and graham cracker, but not particularly clean tasting.

I am always surprised at my distaste for a couple particular coworkers. One who seems to always be the cause of some innate drama. 2.5 second preinfusion for all three. T ectonic Tectonic Blend Espresso: Roasted on 04/26/20 18.3g in 28 seconds 30g out 198.2°F I really liked how I had Tectonic on Friday and this is a close second. Lots of fleeting cherry notes at the front with some sweetness throughout. A little darker than I'd like. Temple Dharma Espresso : Roasted on 04/28/20 18.0g in 28 seconds 24g out 198.2°F I just do not like Temple as an espresso or a ristretto. Mostly chocolate notes and spice towards the end. Very boring. Decaf Equator Blend Espresso: Roasted on 04/23/20 19g in 29 seconds 30g out 198.2°F I finally got tired of the 15g shots. Very woodsy with some cherry sweetness in the front.

6.75. 7 was nice as well. 6.675 had a weird cigarette taste. Chocolate notes, with some Carmel and a linger clove taste. Good for a Joe2Go or someone who wants something more like dinner coffee.

Tectonic Tectonic Blend

My recipe is 28g coffee, 400g hot water not necessarily aiming for any particular time, but somewhere between four and five and half minutes. I try to do a 50g bloom in the first 45 seconds then three or four more pours. 7. Everything was nice. The finer it got the less juicy and more chocolate-y it became. Cherry, caramel sweetness and chocolate. I could drink this everyday. Normally I am not a fan of Tectonic Blend, but this has been vastly superior to the previous batches I have tried.

Tart Cherry notes that lingers, peach and caramel throughout. It was quite juicy. It was alright, I am a bit ambivalent about it. I could certainly see this as a daily drinker, but it doesn't particularly wow me.
