Linea Guatamala El Injerto

Roasted on 06/23/20 I brewed this in a Kalita wave using notneutral filters with a Ditting KR1203 grinder. My recipe is 28g coffee, 400g hot water not necessarily aiming for any particular time, but somewhere between four and five and half minutes. I try to do a 50g bloom in the first 45 seconds then three or four more pours. 6.125. Lots of brown sugar, some orange blossom and a bit of lime tartness. Not that big of a fan, Linea is roasting too dark a lot recently.

Roasted on 05/05/20 I brewed this in a Kalita wave using notneutral filters with a Ditting KR1203 grinder. My recipe is 28g coffee, 400g hot water not necessarily aiming for any particular time, but somewhere between four and five and half minutes. I try to do a 50g bloom in the first 45 seconds then three or four more pours. 6.675. This tastes like Linea Caffe Espresso, I think it is just rebranded. Very juicy, apricot followed by honey with an overwhelming bittersweet chocolate finish. Ok as a daily drinker.

So I ran out of CounterCulture Hologram and had to dial in during service which I was not happy about and my second grinder was not broken, just the burrs weren't completely installed. Linea Caffe Espresso: Roasted on 2/27/20 18.3g in 24 seconds 24-26g out A bit too bland, but oddly subtle. Not really sutible for anything beyond a macchiato. Tico Sangre de Toro Espresso: Roasted on 3/3/20 18.5g in 21 seconds 30-35g out Much darker than I normally like and a slight off aftertaste. Equator Decaf Espresso: Roasted on 2/26/20 15g in 15 seconds 30g out
