SuperThing Coffee Roasters Rwanda Cyiya Kivubelt

Roasted on 03/25/2021 I brewed this in a Kalita wave using notneutral filters with a Baratza Encore grinder. My recipe is 28g coffee, 400g hot water not necessarily aiming for any particular time, but somewhere between four and five and half minutes. I try to do a 50g bloom in the first 45 seconds then three or four more pours. 14. Citrus flowers, slightly tart orange, lots of sweetness and a linger woodsy taste

SuperThing Coffee Roasters Costa Rica San Diego Espresso

Using a Niche Zero Grinder and an Anza espresso machine at 19, 19.4g in, 31 seconds and 26g out. I am not surprised that this turned out better than I thought, there still is predominantly chocolate notes throughout with some acidic pineapple. I found this really enjoyable even though I generally find espresso that taste like chocolate and fruit boring.

It feels a little orthodox and will probably make a good espresso or a daily drinker.
