Barista Bitch Dialing In

Using a Niche Zero Grinder and an Anza espresso machine at 22, 18.0g in, 24 seconds and 30g out. Lots of sharp grapefruit notes, a fair bit of sweetness, faint floral notes and cherry. A little lighter than I thought it would be as an espresso, but it was perfectly serviceable. 

Using a Niche Zero Grinder and an Anza espresso machine at 24, 19.1g in, 31 seconds and 33g out. I am not surprised that this turned out better than I thought, there still is predominantly chocolate notes throughout with some acidic pineapple. I found this really enjoyable even though I generally find espresso that taste like chocolate and fruit boring. 

Using a Niche Zero Grinder and an Anza espresso machine at 19, 17.8g in, 29 seconds and 35g out. Tangy plum with lots of chocolate and rose at the end. I rather enjoyed this is I generally don't care for coffees with chocolate in them, but the rose notes while brief and fleeting were incredibly novel. 

Using a Niche Zero Grinder and an Anza espresso machine at 22.5, 18.5g in, 27 seconds and 24g out. Mostly crisp sweet grapefruit, a bit too thin tasting though. Not quite as good as the last time I had it.

Using a Niche Zero Grinder and an Anza espresso machine at 22, 18.1g in, 31 seconds and 24g out. Tad too tart for me, lots of sour grapefruit notes at the front that quickly turns sweet, followed by some murky floral notes and ending with some hard to narrow down herby notes. I regret using this as an espresso, I feel that it would be much better as a pour over.

Using a Niche Zero Grinder and an Anza espresso machine at 22 on the niche with 17.8g in in 31 seconds 25g out.  It was delightfully sweet, mostly grapefruit notes throughout and a bit of cinnamon that made it a little murky tasting.
