Barista Bitch Dialing In

Roasted 02/08/23 I brewed this in a Kalita wave using notneutral filters with a Niche Zero grinder. My recipe is 28g coffee, 400g hot water not necessarily aiming for any particular time, but somewhere between four and five and half minutes. I try to do a 50g bloom in the first 45 seconds then three or four more pours. 41. Jujube, Lychee & Sweet Agave. Very unique, it had a lot of sweetness and light. It sort of reminds me of a crisp apple.  

Using a Niche Zero Grinder and an Anza espresso machine at 23, 18.3g in, 27 seconds and 50g out. I am not completely happy with how this turned out, it was a much bigger shot than I generally like and I feel that I had to keep going coarser. It was slightly muddy tasting, dark chocolate at the front and some plumot.

My recipe is 28g coffee, 400g hot water not necessarily aiming for any particular time, but somewhere between four and five and half minutes. I try to do a 50g bloom in the first 45 seconds then three or four more pours. 13. Lots of dark chocolate with hints of guava. I was surprised at how dark this was roasted and I could still get fruit notes out of it. I have a feeling this will be better as an espresso.
