Moksha Coffee Roasters Costa Rica White Honey Processed

Roasted on 08/04/22 I brewed this in a Kalita wave using notneutral filters with a Niche Zero grinder. My recipe is 28g coffee, 400g hot water not necessarily aiming for any particular time, but somewhere between four and five and half minutes. I try to do a 50g bloom in the first 45 seconds then three or four more pours. 42. Dark chocolate, orange, cedar, stonefruit and vanilla marshmallow. I am actually surprised that I enjoyed this as much as I did. I am not the biggest fan of Moksha's coffees, more so that I am not at a multi roaster.

Black & White Costa Rica Don Lito White Honey

Roasted on 10/26/20 I brewed this in a Kalita wave using notneutral filters with a Baratza Encore grinder. My recipe is 28g coffee, 400g hot water not necessarily aiming for any particular time, but somewhere between four and five and half minutes. I try to do a 50g bloom in the first 45 seconds then three or four more pours. 18. Lots of Blackberry notes, some citrus acidity and lingering dark brown sugar throughout. I wish it was a tad bit lighter, but it was good nevertheless.
