Roasted on 2/12/20
I brewed this in a Kalita wave using notneutral filters with a Ditting KR1203 grinder. My recipe is 28g coffee, 400g hot water not necessarily aiming for any particular time, but somewhere between four and five and half minutes. I try to do a 50g bloom in the first 45 seconds then three or four more pours.
I did not have enough coffee to satisfactorily dial this in. I ended up with 6.5, but I feel that I might be happier somewhere between 6.375 and 6.5. there was a strong almond taste to this, with some minor cinnamon notes. There was some sweetness to this, but it was overwhelmed by the almond notes. Again I wish I had a bit more coffee to dial this one in, but I feel that I probably would not like this that much more regardless. Coffees with predominant almond notes are always a little boring for me.
