Roasted on 03/17/20
I brewed this in a Kalita wave using notneutral filters with a Ditting KR1203 grinder. My recipe is 28g coffee, 400g hot water not necessarily aiming for any particular time, but somewhere between four and five and half minutes. I try to do a 50g bloom in the first 45 seconds then three or four more pours.
6.675. This is what I've been using for my drip for a while now, but because demand is so low I decided to dial it in as a pour over so I don't need to waste a lot every day. It's surprisingly complex, I generally am not a fan of drip coffee so I was not expecting much from this. Lots of Walnut notes, some caramel and a bit of grain at the very end.
