Barista Bitch Dialing In

Using a Niche Zero Grinder and an Anza espresso machine at 20, 18.7g in, 23 seconds and 35g out. A little thin tasting, but lots of berry notes and some almond. 

Roasted 10/01/21 I brewed this in a Kalita wave using notneutral filters with a Niche Zero grinder. My recipe is 28g coffee, 400g hot water not necessarily aiming for any particular time, but somewhere between four and five and half minutes. I try to do a 50g bloom in the first 45 seconds then three or four more pours. 42. Jasmine, nectarine, key lime pie and it was very clean. I think I am burning out geishas.

Using a Niche Zero Grinder and an Anza espresso machine at 23, 20.4g in, 23 seconds and 30g out. Peach, jasmine and herby. Not the best as an espresso, it certainly feels a little grassy if used for a milk based drink. As a straight espresso it is interesting. 

Using a Niche Zero Grinder and an Anza espresso machine at 22, 20.1g in, 16 seconds and 26g out. Chocolate and orange. Another very good basic espresso, inoffensive in a good way and very balanced. 

Using a Niche Zero Grinder and an Anza espresso machine at 22, 19.4g in, 13 seconds and 24g out. Very sweet, raw sugar, vanilla and chocolate. This is probably one of the best sweet espressos I have had in the last couple years.

Using a Niche Zero Grinder and an Anza espresso machine at 22, 18.5g in, 45 seconds and 24g out. I tried a lot with this one to keep as much of the tropical notes as I can. Mostly Pineapple juice, a little, orange and lots of lingering chocolate.

Using a Niche Zero Grinder and an Anza espresso machine at 19, 19.0g in, 20 seconds and 26g out. Peanut shell, followed by a lot of red fruit and slight orangesicle notes at the end. This is a nice bright inexpensive daily drinker.
